Where are you located?
We offer delivery for a small fee depending on your location. We also can provide information about ground transportation based on your state.
Do you have interview?
Over the years, we developed a huge experience and it is kind easier to flag people that are not dog people. Our customers once in a while ask us if we say no to a person. Actually, unfortunatelly we had few experiences that we had to say "no". We love our puppies and we believe adopting a puppy is a great responsability. Ramdom questions are not a good interview, that is why we restarted to do delivery only and we stopped offering pickups. Because better interview is interact with customer at their own home, then keep in mind we can at some point (even at delivery) say no.
I am interested. Can you tell me more?
We have puppies pure or full breed (crossbreed and design breeds options available too) around 8-20 weeks old, paper registration (full or pure breed only), vet checked, shots up to date, dewormed and full health/genetic guarantee accordingly to each state laws. Mostly full breed puppies has also pedigree. Optional 10 years health guarantee can also be provided (ask us about it).
How much?
$1190-$3800 (usual range price, excluded teacups).
It will depends on breed/size/genre.
Why your website shows a lot of different breeds?
We used to have partners breeders (close friends) and we used to help them advertising and promoting their puppies on our website, and offering same guarantee. Since January, 2025 we are the only breeder. That is why you will not see frequenty availability and now we have waiting list and frequent previous customer's referrals. But now all our puppies are raised by our family only, we own all parents.
Does Yorkies shed?
Yorkshire Terriers are very light shedders all year round, if you can call it shedding. And when it does fall out, there's a high chance that you won't notice much hair on the floor. When his hair falls out, it falls back into his coat. So, you'll only see it when you're brushing or bathing him.
Yorkies are Hypoallergenic Dogs?
The Yorkie is considered hypoallergenic, as are other dog breeds like the Goldendoodle. It’s important to understand that no dog is entirely hypoallergenic. This is a myth. But, some dogs are better for those with allergies compared to others. They have hair instead of fur, so they produce fewer allergens than most dog breeds. Think of Yorkie hair as human hair… okay that sounds kind of weird but it really is like human hair in that they don’t shed like a normal dog would.
How big they will be (Yorkshire Terrier)?
You are going to find a lot of different answers about it and also growth charts with different values. On my opinion I usually resume: TEACUPS (less than 4 pounds), TOY (4-5 pounds), SMALL (5-7 pounds), STANDARD (7-9 pounds), BIG (9-12 pounds). Also their height will be around 7-8 inches.
What is a Parti Yorkie?
Parti Yorkies are purebred Yorkshire Terriers. A recessive gene is responsible for the Parti color variation, which is a tri-color or multi-color coat instead of the Yorkie’s traditional black, blue, or silver coats mixed with tan patches. It also can be all white. Both Yorkie parents must be carriers of the recessive Parti gene for the color pattern to appear in their offspring. These unique dogs are increasing in popularity, but they are not a breed all by themselves.
Biewer Terrier is originated from Yorkies?
Yes, Biewer Terrier originates from Yorkshire Terriers. It was developed by selective breeding of Yorkshire Terriers with the recessive piebald gene, which resulted in the distinct white and color pattern that characterizes the Biewer Terrier. The Biewer Terrier is not a mix of breeds but rather a variation of the Yorkshire Terrier that emerged due to a specific genetic trait. It is very common find out that yorkies has some biewer terrier on their genetic. The AKC officially recognized the breed in 2021. The Biewer Terrier is a toy dog breed that is a variation of the Yorkshire Terrier, featuring a piebald (three-color) coat.
How can I make sure my yorkie is a teacup?
Unfortunately a lot of breeders/sellers says that have teacups available but in real, puppies will be a regular size yorkie. We are proud to have a really accurate estimate size for our yorkies based in years of experience. 99% of our teacups kept as estimated. Be extra careful when searching for a teacup since it is very rare. Keep in mind that a yorkshire terrier (teacup size) 8 weeks old usually has only 1.4 pounds or less and of course eating well and healthy.
Best age to estimate size in yorkie puppies is around 7-10 weeks old. Breeder experience is very important to do accurate estimates. Parents size is not a good estimate rule, I myself already had puppies less than 4 pounds from parents 9 pounds and same way had 12 pounds puppies from parents 6 pounds. Then you will find a LOT calculators online and spreedsheets, most of it not really accurate.
Over my years of experience, estimating size is not about weigh only, because a puppy can be a great eater or not, then that is really something that affects a estimate. Other facts like paws size, ears, body dimensions are helpful.
In resume at 8 weeks old: 1.4 pounds (22-23 ounces) will be around 4 pounds full grown; 1.6 lbs about 5 lbs; 2 lbs about 6 lbs; 2.5 lbs about 7 lbs.
And what about the yorkie colors?
AKC (American Kennel Club) recogize those colors for Yorkshire Terrier: Black &Tan / Blue & Gold / Blue & Tan / Black & Gold. All standard, purebred Yorkie puppies are born with black and tan coats, colors change as they growing and this can take 1-3 years to reach their real color.
Yorkies puppies with different colors like chocolate are also considered pure breed Yorkies, they sometimes are even more expensive on general market due rare colors.
Then what is the difference between a pure breed or a full breed?
A purebred dog is generally considered to have parents from the same breed, often meaning it's 94-100% of that breed, though exact percentages vary by registry, with some defining purebreds as high as 87.5% or 93.75% with a documented lineage, while "fullblood" often means 100% pedigreed, with registries like AKC using specific thresholds for "breed purity" based on DNA and ancestry.
The general rule of thumb for many associations, including some interpretations of the American Kennel Club (AKC) requirements, is that a dog must have at least 87.5% of its inheritance from the same breed's foundation stock to be considered purebred and eligible for registration.
Most of our Yorkies are 100% full breed, but we still have 1-2 females that has over 90% genetic yorkie that we decided keep since puppies are healthy and her bloodline is good and dog registry tracks her pedigree. We are happy in explain all details and be clear about it.
Design breed is usually a crossbreed between 2 parents 100% genetic dna and puppies are usually 50% each breed. Second generation will usually be 75%; 25%. If you interested about puppy genetic percentage, ask us in advance and we will be happy in explain better.
How many years do they live?
Life expectancy for a Yorkshire Terrier is around 15 years, sometimes more or less. Teacups usually live less, because they are more like to have healthy complications.
How can I trust this is not a scam?
We understand there are a lot of scammers nowadays around puppies sales, mainly Yorkies. That is why we built our website and social media. Please take a look on our page and you will definitely see that our customers are real and happy with their puppies. We answer all inquiries as fast as possible. We deliver your puppy at your home and NO DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED, that means no upfront money, then no scam at all! Also we do not accept money for friends (Zelle, Paypal), neither gift cards. We accept all credit cards, debit cards, paypal (buying a service/product), Venmo (business option) and cash. Paper check/certified check is a option but need our approval (ask us before if you need it).
Is deposit required?
Delivery is usually set within 48 hours, if you need extra days, then we will evaluate the reason and probably a deposit (non-refundable) will be required.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, we deliver in RI, CT, NH, MA and ME. We charge a small fee to cover transportation expenses. Let us know where you live it and we can give you an estimate value. Remember this is a car distance delivery, no airplane shipping (not healthy for the puppies).
What about genetic tests?
We have a goal to start doing full genetic tests in our parents to be able to improve our breeding practices and retire moms earlier in case of any major genetic issue. Genetic testing helps determine the probability of inheriting or developing a genetic condition by analyzing DNA.
Then AKC is the only good dog registry?
AKC is the most famous and oldest dog registry. A lot of old breeds will have only AKC registration but more recent dog breeds can be found in any other dog registry, and that does not mean other dog registry is not good or does not have good standard procedures for registration. Each one has different fees for breeders and owners, what makes nowadays a lot of breeders opt to different dog registrations.
AKC (American Kennel Club) was created and founded in 1884 (tracks pedigree).
ACA (American Canine Association) was established in 1984 (tracks pedigree).
ICA (International Canine Association) is ACA option for full, pure breed and design breeds (do not track pedigree).
APRI (America's Pet Registry Inc) was established in 1992 (pedigree option).
CKC (Continental Kennel Club) was established in 1991 (pedigree option).
UKC (United Kennel Club) founded in 1898.
DBR (Designer Breed Registry) established in 1979.
NKC (National Kennel Club) established in 1964.
ACHC (American Canine Hybrid Club) established in 1969.
DDKC (Designer Dogs Kennel Club) established in 2007.
NAMBR (North America Mixed Breed Registry.
DRA (Dog Registry of America) registers all breeds, design and crossbreed. You can register any dog with them and have a paper. It is a good option if you have different parents papers but still want provide some registration. Most flexible option.
Besides those dog registry listed, you will definitely find probably much more options, then at the end is about a piece of paper. If you are interest in a show dog or champions, then AKC is probably number 1 in availability but you can have some quality dogs or even higher quality in any other dog registration as well.
On our humble opinion, you should ask breeder about their blood lineage, if they check parents dna according to each breed recommendation. There are a lot of complex tests available and each breed has their own necessity and risks that breeders are usually aware. Then checking about puppies genetic healthy and genetic percentage is something more important than registration papers.
A good breeder will always stay behind their puppies and be proud of them, then they will guarantee their puppies besides any paper. That is why we are always available for the dog's lifetime and you will be able to always reach us with questions before and after adopting one of our puppies.
Unfortunately, diseases can always happens in a dog's life as they do in ours. However, with a good genetic line and by raising them with high-quality food, regular exercise, comfort, human interaction, and a happy environment, they are much more likely to live a long live without major health problems.
What is a broker/dealer? Are you a broker/dealer?
We are not a broker or a dealer. A dog broker is a person or business that buys an resells dogs from breeders (for a fee) to pet stores, online retailers, or directly to consumers. We have our own parents and we take care of the puppies in all steps. We are breeders and we follow all states laws and regulations accordingly with each state and city. Then there is no middleman and we are responsible for all puppies posted in our page. Any customer getting a puppy from us, you will be able to see how they are bond with us at delivery experience. This is a major proof that we are the ones taking great care of each puppy.
Are you a pet store?
We are not a pet store and we do not have any plans in becoming one. We do not believe in the concept of puppies living inside a store and staying most of day behind a glass window. We prefer raise our puppies in the comfort of a home with plenty space to do exercises, having fresh air, and interact with other puppies, dogs and children.
Do you donate any parent after retirement?
If for some reason we stop breeding any one of our dogs, we usually keep them or have already some friend or family for them. Unfortunately we do not donate thru our page since we also believe this a rescue/shelter responsability. Shelters are full not because breeders, they are full because people decide adopt/buy a puppy and have regrets after and abandone them at shelters. Our interview occurs all the way in the process, mainly at delivery and also signing our contract. Each customer is strongly advised how is a great responsability having a puppy and we give extensive information during the process and we are always available for our customers in a daily basis to help with adjusting puppy's to their new home. We are 100% against rehoming a puppy, if you are getting a puppy is a lifetime decision and you need to be sure of that before searching for a puppy. Rescuing a dog is also a beautiful option and if it is what you want, search for local shelters where you live or also adoption agencies like MSPCA. Check this link https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ and you will be able to see how to adopt and their fees.
What is a puppy mill?
An establishment that breeds puppies for sale, typically on an intensive basis and in condition regarded as inhumane. Parents live in a enclosed environment all their lives and only has the purpose of breeding. Most of pet stores buy puppies from puppy mills because they would not be able to have puppies available every single day of hundreds of different breeds. This is a frequently question and important concern about puppies coming from puppy mills and should be something to be checked. Do your research to know more about the place you are getting your puppy and mainly about old customers. After Covid, it is hard to say do not buy online puppies since it is everything mostly online nowadays, then some rules you will read in websites about puppy mills are also outdate. You only need to make sure that the breeder you are in contact is a real person and not a scammer. Always be extra careful about sending deposits before making sure place is real. Always check online for extra information and ask to pay with credit card or invoice. Breeder/seller asking deposits using Zelle or gift cards are major red flags for scams.
